The National Curriculum is composed of The New Zealand Curriculum and Te Matauranga O Aotearoa which set the direction which set the direction for student learning and provide guidance for schools as they design and review their curriculum

Tapasa is designed to help help improve the way teachers & leaders engage with Pacific Learners, and to the extent parents, families and their communities, to make the biggest difference in a child's educational success.

The Action Plan for Pacific Education 2020-2030 has a vision that diverse Pacific learners and their families feel safe, valued and equipped to achieve their education aspirations.

Māori are enjoying and achieving education success as Māori, as they develop the skills to participate in te ao Māori, Aotearoa and the wider world.

Tataiako is a resource to support teachers to develop cultural competence to successfully teach Maori learners.


It is most effective when whānau, hapū and iwi work together with schools and services to determine the cultural competencies that are particular to their communities

Te Whariki is the national curriculum for Early Childhood Education in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Te Whariki provides a framework of principles and strands to support children to be lifelong learners.

He taonga te tamaiti – Every child a taonga: Early learning action plan 2019-2029 sets the high level direction and vision for early learning for the next ten years.
